John went alone and explored DC one day while I was Conventioning. He was most excited about the Air and Space museum at the Smithsonian. It was 105 the day he was exploring, so he came back to the Gaylord with a horrible case of heat rash. Thankfully we remembered to pack the baby powder (awwwww!!) so we powdered him up real good after his shower. The only things I KNOW what they are is the last 5 pics. These are sand sculptures that were on display at the Gaylord. They had different artists come in and craft them as part of their Summer Of Fun promotion. (And yes, I KNOW the Capitol building and the Washington Monument, but I have no idea what, where or why he took the shots he did!)

Great photos. Glad he had fun exploring but 105 would be too much for me.
