Back from Convention!

And what a week it was! We saw record heat while we were in Washington DC. It was 102 the day we arrived. Then it went to 103 the next day and 105 the following day. Then it cooled off to a balmy 98 and stayed in the mid to upper 90's the rest of our trip. We had one full day of rain, which was a welcome relief to the area. I told someone that Mother Nature was making up for their record cold and snow this past winter! The Gaylord National is a beautiful facility. You pay for that beauty too! It is pretty isolated from the greater DC area and there is no easy way to get into DC. Traffic is a nightmare! Rush hour runs from about 5 AM til after 9 AM and then from 3 PM til well after 7 PM. There are biking/running trails all over. Every. One has dogs. And they are welcomed just about anywhere. The people were very friendly. A city I'd like to return to when it's not so hot!

John filled two picture cards and I have well over 400 on mine! I'll spend the next few days sharing those pics as I get them sorted.

Today I'm gonna start with all the loot I brought home from CTMH. All new product that will debut to Consultants Aug 1 and to customers Sept 1. But you get an early sneak peek!

First is the cover of the new Fall/Winter Idea Book. It's chock full of lucious new papers, new INK colors, new stamps, new bling! Traditionally it's my favorite of the year and this one did not disappoint.

Then we have NEW 12" Flip Flaps for your 12 x 12 albums! So you can add as may pics to a page as your little heart desires. This may well be my favorite of the new items! You get 8 to the package; 4 are 6 x 12, 2 are 4 x 12 and 2 are 8 x 12.

Moving on to the new stamp sets.

First is called The Present. Swirls, flowers, leaves, corner edges. Sentiment says "Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That's why we call it the Present."

Next is Circle of Love. Peacock feathers, more swirls, hearts, sentiments say Family and Together we can do anything.

Then we have Unity. Frames with sentiments, which include Forever friends, You're amazing, Family ties and You are loved. There's 10 sentiments in all in this set.

Picture This has all of the logos and images from Convention. This is a Convention goers exclusive set and not available to order. This was at our place setting the night of the Closing Banquet.

And finally, the Petite Perk for this IB. Called Memories. It has two leaves, an acorn and the sentiment Memories. These were the centerpieces on the tables at Closing Banquet and there were quite a few of them in the bag. We played the Left-Right game and the gal at our table who won quickly opened her bag and shared one of them with each of us at the table. So generous of her!

We also have new Clear Cards coming out. 4.5 x 5.5 cards with rounded corners or bracket edges.

New bling!! These are The new Opaques in Mocha. There is also Licorice and Pearl. You get 108 gems per package.

And new Foundry Flourishes. In an Antiqued Copper finish. You get 13 metal shapes. Flowers, photo corners, photo clips and one square frame. They have a self-adhesive backing on them.

Last but not least. NEW INK COLORS! Eight yummy new colors, all in the Summer pallette. In the Carnival line, gone are Clover Meadow, Orange, Hydrangea and Star Spangled Blue. Brand new are Gypsy, Pacifica and Sunset. In the Celebration line, Bubblegum, Citrus Leaf, Ocean and Watermelon have all been replaced with Lagoon, Cotton Candy, Pear, Sky and Smoothie. These colors are beautiful. Simply beautiful. I can't wait to start creating with them!

We got all of these things to create 4 cards and 2 12 x 12 layouts. And no, mine are not completed! It was SO LOUD in the classes that I could not hear myself think, so I ditched both Create & Take classes. They will be the first thing I work on, so stay tuned for the reveal on them! There's lots more too.
OK, I cannot for the life of me get the stamp sets to load. Maybe the file is too big? I dunno. So I will post them on their own! Sorry for the confusion!
