t!m has another great tag and a few techniques for April. This month is all about Spring! He even threw in a few techniques from Creative Chemistry 101!
I started with a Cuttlebug embossing folder of birds and vines. Used my Reflections numbers stamp and stamped the folder and ran the tag thru the Vagabond and the image is now right-side around on my tag! The magic of television!! I don't have the bird on a brach die that t!m used, so I went into my stash o' pre-cut Grunge and got a few flowers, butterflies and dragonflies and also letters to spell SPRING. I used my Mustard Yellow distress inks on the letters then added Rock Candy Crackle Distress with my finger and set aside to dry. I used just a touch of the Mustard Yellow ink on my tag along with Iced Spruce and Gathered Twigs. I used my CTMH Markers to color the dragonfly, butterfly and flowers. The flowers have Lumiere Pearl White (that I found in my stash last week during the Perfect Pearls class! Ohhh...pretty shiney things!!) and the dragonfly and butterfly have Rock Candy Crackle Distress on them. The ladybug I found at Michael's and I used Red Pepper Paint Dabbers and Claudine Hellmuth Studio Charcoal Black Acrylic Paint to paint, then used my gathered twigs distress ink on it and dipped it in clear embossing powder and heat set to make it shimmer and shine.

Wow, how adorable. That face in the flower had me smiling. I love the use of the lady bug charm.
Cute!!
I have the same pack of grunge pieces and I used the little dragonfly on my tag. I actually was tempted by the flowers too...but ended up going with a one of the little birds from the pack and the branch from my holly and berries die.
The little face made me smile!!
wow what a great tag you made, love the colours.
This is gorgeous Sue, you sure took that theme and made it your own. I love the background and the flowers are beautiful... loving it 'Sue Style' Anna xx
It's only the 4th and you are already finished with this...wow...jealous! I need your mojo! I love how this is all your own goodness! The colors are bright and fun, as is Spring!
wow loving these tags. Great job. So much detail. Love the lady bug.
A beautiful Spring tag Sue! Great take on Tim's April tag!
