StampFest

Today was the 15th Annual StampFest in Clearwater. I'd never been before and decided I needed to remedy that! I spent most of the time I was there in the Stampers Anonymous booth with Ted Cutts, the owner of SA. He is so down to earth. Felt like I'd known him all my life. Of course, SA is who makes all of t!m's stamps, so there IS that!! I was hoping that they would have his new release stamps from CHA and they did not disappoint! Heck, they had all but three sets of his that have ever been released! They also had the new Dylusions stamps. Dyan Reaveley is the newest Signature Designer for Ranger and SA makes all the stamps for all of their designers. So I ended up with three of t!m's new sets along with one Dylusions set. They had grab bags so I snagged one of them and got some really cool stuff in it. I got some #8 tags since I was running low. And a new container of Claudine Hellmuth Multi Medium since my container is almost empty. Also got some Black and White Enamel Accents. It's sorta like Glossy Accents, only in black and white. Ted was making tags as demo's and I got one! And he used the last bit of film strip when he was making mine, so he handed me the empty container and told me to create something with it! I sure will, Ted! I also spent some time with my wonderful CTMH Upline Susan and her hubby Joe at their booth. LOVE Susan to death and even though we are only about 3 hrs drive apart, don't get to see each other as often as we'd like. She was getting some nice sales out of her booth today, so I was very happy for her on that. I didn't stay too long with her since it was just she and Joe in the booth and she needed to spend time with her PAYING customers! I did walk the entire sales floor and while there were some really nice things, I didn't find anything that screamed it had to come home with me. There were make and takes being done, but the lines to do them were horrendous, so I didn't do any. All in all, it was a great morning.
