It's time once again for Compendium of Curiosities III! Our wonderful hostess, Linda Ledbetter has all the details along with the design team's contribution. We are following along in the book by Tim Holtz. This week our sponsor is The Funkie Junkie and they will be giving one lucky player a $25 shopping spree.
This week's technique can be found on page 37, Altered Burlap Panel. And as always, I can't tell you how I did it, but I can share a couple of things. I was blown away by Paula Cheney's blog tutorial on making ginormous flowers with Tim's Jumbo Tattered Florals Die. I bought it and the new Butterfly die and embossing folder combo last weekend at StampFest Orlando and decided that was where I was starting with my panel. I love the technique of the flowers and will be using it again! I decided my butterfly needed to be a monarch and colored it with Distress Markers.
