Compendium of Curiosities III -Stamps and Framelets

Two weeks just f-l-e-w by! We are still playing in the book by Tim Holtz  and our hostess is the fabulous Linda Ledbetter, And our sponsor is Inspiration Emporium who is supplying a winner with a $50 gift card!

This week our challenge is on page 63. It's Tim's fabulous Stamps and Framelets set. I decided to get started on my Christmas decorations. I used one of Tim's burlap panels as my starting point. I distressed the edges with some Gathered Twigs Distress Ink. I added some Festive Berries Distress Glitter to Multi Medium and applied it thru Tim's new Festive stencil. There's also a bit of shimmer from Perfect Pearls. My ribbon was dyed with Iced Spruce.

Hi Sue. Your Christmas burlap canvas is so cute and festive! :) It's hard to think about Christmas when it's 98 degrees in the shade here in Missouri but you have managed to accomplish that! I love your colors that you've used in that beautiful background. Your blueprint Christmas tree is adorable. I also love the enamel tag with "Dec. 25" on it and the Iced Spruce ribbon! Thanks for joining us at CC3C. <3 Candy
