Share The Love gift

This is what Jenn, Debbie and Chris all got for playing the Share The Love pay it forward game with me back in February. I filled each of the boxes with Reese's Miniature Peanut Buter Cups and Hershey's Miniatures. Don't dispair if you didn't win! I may do another pay it forward game. Stay tuned!

Gifts for a friend

So I've been working on a few projects. For my friend Chris! She's got a bun in the oven and I had some ideas of things I wanted to do for her. I made a canister for the baby's room to hold cotton balls or whatever. The theme of the room is camping, so the cardstock is camping and there are forest animals stamped and cut out on it, leaves and other stuff. CTMH introduced a new acrylic album with the fall/winter Idea Book and I made one for Chris and Mike with a Christmas theme. All they have to do is add pictures!

Birthday card...

for youngest nephew Jake. Loozer Aunt Sue completely brain-farted his birthday last Saturday, so we'll be heading down to see him tomorrow when Uncle John is off. Looks like I'm on a Sassy Strands roll with my last two cards. I am convinced that Jake is gonna do something with animals when he grows up. His love of animals has not wained as he's gotten older. So that was my inspiration for his card. New Magic Moments paper pack was used, along with a photo hanger and Sunflower Waxy Flax. Sunkiss Yellow and Buttercup Sassy Strands for the mane and googly eyes on the lion.

Marjorie is just the sweetest thing. I opened the mailbox of Fri to find an envelope stuffed with Bella and fairy images, along with the cutest owl card. I will be putting all of the images to good use very soon!

More Christmas gifts!

I ordered these picture frames from Oriental Trading over the summer to alter for Christmas gifts for my sisters, mom and I. Decided I'd best get them done! I used CTMH Simple Pleasures paper and the stamp set from the Serendipity paper pack set. I really like how they turned out. Mine's not done yet because I don't know what paper pack I'm gonna use. I had made up my mind I was gonna use the Serendipity but then I got the new Silhouette paper pack yesterday for a swap and it's even more beautiful in person than in the catalog. So now I can't decide! But since it's for me, I'll wait til I decided what picture I want to put in it and then make the papers match. What a concept!!
