It's time for Tim Holtz's final tag of 2015. I followed along pretty closely with this one. I didn't (at the time I made it) have the Festive Greenery die, so I went with a pre-made wreath and hung it on the front door!
I always enjoy doing the tags and I hope Tim continues them into 2016.

12 tags of 2015-November
It's time once again for the 12 tags of 2015, the November version! Jump over and see what Tim created.
I followed the base pretty close, but instead of the pumpkin, I chose to use the Acorn stamp. I did the acorn the same way he did the pumpkin to dive it depth and dimension. I used some Chit Chat words from the Holidays collection as well.

12 Tags of 2015-October
It's time once again for Tim's 12 Tags of 2015. As usual, I'm marching to my own drummer!
I kept pretty close to his base layer, using some Halloween paper I already had. Then I chose two different Holiday Found Relatives cards and colored here and there on them using my Distress Markers. I also used some of the words from the Holiday Chit Chat stickers.

12 Tags of 2015-September
It's time once again for the 12 Tags of 2015 on Tim's blog and this one is proof that I still don't know how to follow directions!
You will notice the beautiful stencil design on Tim's tag and there doesn't appear to be one on mine. Ohhh, but there IS, Grasshopper! Mine is just a bit more unseen. I slathered my Clear Embossing Paste on the TAG and not the alcohol inked portion that everyone would see. You can see bits and pieces of it around the edges. But as Tim is so fond of saying, Embrace the Imperfections, so I did! I opted not to do a "do over." and left it as I made it. Otherwise, the tag pretty much kept to Tim's instructions.
I shall try to do better next month!

12 Tags of 2015-August
Flip the calendar. Another month down. Another Tim Tag of The Month!
What a cool tag he created for this month! I changed it up a bit (don't I always!) I have the same Framelets dies as he used, so I used it, then followed along with the coloring of the tag. I used a lady from the Found Relatives pack, and instead of the star like Tim used, I gave her a pretty rose at her belt. I also used Brushed Pewter Paint to flick over the completed tag.

12 Tags of 2015-July
A new month means a new tag from Tim. I think his July tags and the fact that he generally does a Patriotic theme are my favorite ones year in and year out. He used some new stuff again, and as usual, I followed along but still marched to my own drummer!

12 Tags of 2015-June
June??? Really? How did it get to be June already?
I don't know, but I do know Tim's got a perfect for him tag over on his blog. He made a Starbucks card. I took a different path as I am known to do! I used Salyy Ocean, Peacock Feathers and Mermaid Lagoon for my plaid. I hadn't inked up Tim's CrAzY Birds in a while, so I used that set today and colored the bird with new Abandoned Coral and Twisted Citron. For decoration, I used some of the Remnant Rubs from the Botanicals pack, a Pocket Card and a piece of Industrious Stickers that I first painted black, let dry, then rubbed most of it off to age it.

12 Tags of 2015-May
It's time once again for the 12 tags of 2015! You can go to Tim's blog post to see his fabulous creation!
I needed a few manly tag/cards, so I went in a different direction than Tim's. I used some of Tim's new Deco Sheets to make my sentiment in place of the flowers. Otherwise, I followed along with pretty much everything else he demonstrated with his tag.

12 Tags of 2015-April
Another month, another tag!
Tim's got another fabulous tag for April and while I don't have any of the Thinlets dies (yet) I still managed to come up with a pretty close copy!
I used some gems and stars to decorate and a sentiment from the Small Talk collection, and it's hard to tell, but there is Stickles on the flower centers.

12 tags of 2015-March
March? How can it be? 2015 just started and we are three months in. Time marches on.
Playing along again with Tim and his gorgeous tag using lots of new products. I don't have the Gold Embossing Powder that he used, so I used the Copper Embossing Powder I DO have! I am diggin' how the embossing powder also stuck to the tissue tape! I had a ticket laying on my craft table, so I ripped it in half and added it to the bottom of my tag after inking the edges with Gathered Twigs distress ink. This was a fun tag! I think I may do a few more using this technique.

12 tags of 2015-February
Playing along again with 12 tags of 2015 with Tim. I changed up a few things. He used a piece of heavy felt for the heart, which I didn't have, so instead I used a piece of woven burlap-y material. Used my new Janome sewing machine to sew some stitches on the heart.I also used some waxed linen thread to attach the heart to the arrow instead of the wire like Tim did. I added a few rub-ons too!

12 tags of 2015-January
New year, new challenges. Here's to a happier 2015!
Tim is continuing with his monthly tag challenges. He set the bar high with the January tag! And hopefully next month, we will be using some of his new products since CHA is in Cali this weekend.
On to this months tag!
I pretty much followed Tim's instructions. My Chit Chat stickers seem to have grown legs and walked off somewhere, so I had to use some of my rub-ons instead! Now that the tag is complete, the Chit Chat stickers can walk back home where they belong!
