Carol is our hostess this week at SDC214.
She wanted us to get into the Halloween spirit early! Schmurphy has his broom and is gathering up his pumpkins already. And since they are already carved, they will be attracting bugs and be moldy in a week in our 90 degree heat we are still having in Florida even though it's the first day of Autumn!

SDC213-Milestone Celebrations
Kathi is our hostess this week for SDC213 and she wanted us to use a milestone celebration as the focus of our project.
I just received some new Stampotique stamps, so I HAD to play with Ellie! She's all decked out in her sparkly party hat and balloons for somebody's 50th Birthday Celebration. And you know "they" said that 50 is the new 30!!

SDC212-Use only two stamps
Nellie is our hostess this week at SDC212 and she wants us to just use two stamps.
I made a postcard and used LuminArte Silks for my base, then applied some old torn dictionary pages and some Rub-ons, then sewed along the edges. I used Roc Nicolas' Party Dog and Squiggle Arms stamps, which I used for Party Dog's hat! He is ready to go where his heart leads!

12 Tags of 2015-September
It's time once again for the 12 Tags of 2015 on Tim's blog and this one is proof that I still don't know how to follow directions!
You will notice the beautiful stencil design on Tim's tag and there doesn't appear to be one on mine. Ohhh, but there IS, Grasshopper! Mine is just a bit more unseen. I slathered my Clear Embossing Paste on the TAG and not the alcohol inked portion that everyone would see. You can see bits and pieces of it around the edges. But as Tim is so fond of saying, Embrace the Imperfections, so I did! I opted not to do a "do over." and left it as I made it. Otherwise, the tag pretty much kept to Tim's instructions.
I shall try to do better next month!

SDC211-Perfectly Primary
Sue is our hostess this week at http://stampotiquedesignerschallenge.blogspot.com/2015/09/sdc211-perfectly-primary.html and she wanted us to use two of the three primary colors.
I chose red and yellow and used an old hotel room card to apply my paint. Once it dried, I applied Clear Embossing Paste thru a stencil and let it dry, then to bring out the flourish, I went over the stenciling lightly with Black Archival ink and a piece of cut and dry foam.
Both of my main images are Roc Nicholas' and are available at Stampotique. Stand Tall and Party Dog. Colored with PrismaColor pencils and a bit of pink sparkle on the socks and eyeglasses!
